Jake is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Tennessee, working primarily in oil paint and charcoal. An 11-year U.S. Air Force Special Warfare veteran, he graduated Middle Tennessee State Universtiy with a Bachelor in Visual Arts, minoring in Aviation. He creates realistic and emotionally charged work exploring faith, sacrifice, grief, resilience, and the unseen struggles people carry that most don't talk about. His faith and followership in Jesus Christ coupled with his military experience strongly influence his art, which he uses as a way to confront personal turmoil and transform pain into visual works of art.
